Wood Floats are used to float the concrete around the perimeter of a pour. Often, the perimeter of a slab is difficult to float properly with a bullfloat, this is where a hand float is required. The wood float beds down the aggregate and leaves a lightly textured surface allowing the bleed water to escape.
