Problem

When ground surfaces fail, the problem is rarely cosmetic. Loose gravel shifts under traffic. Turf turns to mud. Traditional hardstand surfaces crack, trap water and require ongoing maintenance. Over time, these failures lead to rework, downtime and higher long-term costs.

Stabilising the ground properly from the start changes everything above it.

Solution

Trex Ground Stabilisation System is a modular, interlocking pavement system designed to reinforce ground surfaces exposed to traffic. Installed over a prepared subbase and filled with approved materials, the system locks fill in place and spreads load evenly across the surface. Water drains through the pavement rather than pooling on top, helping reduce erosion and surface damage while maintaining structural stability.

The result is a surface that stays where it's mean to be, even under repeated use.

Before Trex Ground
Stabilisation System

The surface of the ground is affected by erosion and mud following extended periods of rainfall, which presents a hazard.

After Trex Ground
Stabilisation System

Locks soil in place, creating a stable surface that prevents erosion. Its interlocking cells distribute weight evenly, reducing rutting, improve drainage, and enhance long-term durability.

What You Get When You Choose This System

When you specify a Trex ground stabilisation system, you're not just buying a grid, you're investing in predictable surface performance. Most importantly, you get a surface that performs consistently, reducing callbacks and long-term risk.

  • Holds it shape under traffic
  • Reduces rutting, washouts and edge failure
  • Manages water naturally through permeability
  • Requires less ongoing maintenance than loose or failing surfaces
  • Adapts to different site conditions and finishes
  • Installs faster than many traditional hardstand alternatives

The System

Includes multiple system options designed for different traffic demands. Each uses the same core technology, with performance matched to application.

TrexPave

TrexPave

For residential, commercial and light civil projects

Suits everyday traffic areas where stability, drainage and finish matter. It is commonly used for car parks, driveways, walkways and landscaped spaces. Designed to deliver a clean finish with long-term performance.

What you get with TrexPave:

  • A stable surface that resists rutting and washouts
  • Improved drainage through permeable design
  • Reduced maintenance compared to loose gravel or turf
  • A finish that blends into landscaped and built environments
TrexPave

TrexLok

For heavy-duty and industrial environments

Designed for higher loads and harsher conditions. It is used across mining, construction and industrial sites where traffic is constant and surface failure is not acceptable. Built to perform under sustained heavy use.

What you get with TrexLok:

  • A surface built to handle sustained heavy loads
  • Improved site access without full concrete pavements
  • Faster installation compared to traditional hardstand solutions
  • Reduced downtime and surface rework

TrexSpot

Pavement delineation and safety

TrexSpot pavement delineators integrate with Trex systems to provide land definition, hazard marking and pedestrian guidance without compromising surface performance. Used to improve visibility and site safety.

Compatible Surface Fills

TrexPave and TrexLok works with multiple surface finishes. Allowing you to meet design and site requirements. Same grid. Different outcomes.
