Six Types of Concrete Repair Products

Updated: 8 December 2025

Concrete is widely used across construction because of its strength and durability. Over time, however, weather exposure, moisture changes and reinforcing steel corrosion can cause cracking and surface deterioration. When this occurs, choosing the right repair solution is essential to restore structural integrity and extend service life.

Selecting the appropriate concrete floor repair products depends on the severity of damage and the conditions of the site. Form Direct supplies a comprehensive range suited to preventative sealing, partial depth repairs and full reinstatement of worn surfaces.

Why Concrete Repair Products Matter

Concrete deterioration increases with age. Exposure to temperature shifts, moisture, chemicals and corrosion can weaken the material. High quality repair products restore performance, improve appearance and help prevent further damage.

Six Types of Concrete Repair Products

Form Direct offers a wide selection of repair products suited to different applications. Here are six common types and their uses.

  • Durafloor Leveltop: A high performance floor underlay designed for a wide variety of finishes including ceramic tiles, carpet, vinyl and timber. It protects worn concrete floors and can be used with high build resin based systems for improved durability.

  • Concure AV: A curing compound ideal for spray applications. It reduces cracking caused by fluctuating weather conditions and promotes controlled moisture retention during early curing.

  • Calcure B: A PVA based curing and sealing agent that forms a clear membrane on fresh concrete. It reduces moisture loss while remaining compatible with future topping layers.

  • Cemtop XD: A strong floor topping used to reinstate worn surfaces or to provide a high strength finish on new concrete. Ideal when floors require improved load capacity or a smoother final surface.

  • Vandex BB75 Z: A cement based waterproofing barrier designed for high pressure environments. Its sulphate resistance makes it suitable for sewerage, tanks and other demanding applications.

  • Vandex Plug: A fast setting, cement based mortar used to stop active water leaks. It is commonly used in below ground car parks, access chambers, tunnels and water storage tanks.
