Installation Guide
Coir logs are straightforward to install. Follow these steps for effective placement and long-lasting performance:

Clear rocks, stumps and debris to ensure full soil contact.

Dig a trench no deeper than one-third of the log’s diameter (for example, 100 mm trench for a 300 mm log).

Position 25 mm × 25 mm × 900 mm stakes 300 mm from each end and along both sides. Space additional stakes no more than 1 m apart, closer in unstable soils. Drive stakes between the outer netting and inner fibres (not through the log).

Secure the log using 2.5 mm galvanised steel wire or 5 mm coir twine.

Backfill to the top of the log for added stability and improved aesthetics.
Maintenance
Regular inspections, especially after heavy rain, are essential to ensure logs remain securely in place. Replace damaged stakes, reposition dislodged sections and remove protective netting once vegetation has become established.
Keeping spare plants on hand helps quickly replace failed vegetation and maintain consistent coverage throughout the site.
